I Found My Niche at Wellesley College
Student Name: Katherine Stabile
School: Wellesley College
Major: Electrical Engineering
Hi my name is Katherine Stabile. I’m currently a first year at Wellesley college and a prospective English and Electrical Engineering Major.
Wellesley College has definitely been one of the best experiences of my life. Everyone bashes on the dining hall here but compared to Harvard we have it pretty good.
The scenery is amazing and so are classes. The small class size is definitely something that I consider a pro here. My professors know me and actually care about my success in their classes. We are able to cross registering with MIT but it is definitely not as easy as it was made out to be. Stem classes here are hard to get into (at least CS) so I’d say keep that in mind.
There’s a lot to do on and off campus as well. It’s about 30-60 minutes away from Cambridge depending on the traffic but it’s only free on the campus bus during the week.
While we might not have a mascot, I’d say go blue is pretty rad. And if you want a school that is a HWC I’d say Go Blue
