I Found My Niche at Villanova University
Student Name: Kamryn Rogers
School: Villanova University
Major: Business Marketing and Management
“Hi everyone! My name is Kamryn Rogers (she/her) and I’m a sophomore at Villanova University intending to double major in business marketing and management!
After visiting Villanova with my sister my sophomore year of high school there was just something that stuck with me. Since I was from a small all-girls high school where I was heavily involved, I gravitated towards the emphasis on community and the sense that I would be able to thrive with the many resources Villanova offered. Even as I went on other college visits, Villanova was always in the back of my mind and after receiving a merit-based full-tuition scholarship and knowing I would have a chance to go to school with my sister for four more years, it felt like a no-brainer.
Being from the Midwest, the east coast was a bit of an adjustment and the pandemic did not make it any easier. But what I eventually realized was that the friendships and connections that flowed naturally were the ones I needed to put my energy towards. Just from getting involved in certain organizations or randomly striking up a conversation with one of my classmates has allowed me more opportunities than I could’ve imagined when I first applied.
Feel free to dm me if you have any questions about Villanova or need any advice about applying to colleges!” – @bamryn
