I Found My Niche at University of Wisconsin Milwaukee
Student Name: Larissa
School: University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee
Major: Kinesiology
Hi everyone! My name is Larissa and am currently a junior at UW-Milwaukee. I am studying Kinesiology (Pre-PT) & have had interest minoring in business.
For all three years at UWM, I haven’t had a single complaint. The campus is chill and very laidback, giving a great atmosphere. Being located minutes from Downtown Milwaukee is a major plus, allowing students access to dozens of restaurants, cafes, gyms, theaters, and much more… not to mention the Fiserv Forum where the Milwaukee Bucks play!
When it comes to academics, UWM has great resources outside the classroom to help achieve the grades that you want. A great tip to current or future students at UWM is to connect with other students & facility. I mention this because there is always someone out there on campus that wants you to succeed! It can be difficult at first to connect or figure out where you fit it, but with a little effort on your half you can meet great people.
