I Found My Niche At University of Southern California
Student: Eunice Dulalia
Major: Human Biology (Pre-Med)
“Mabuhay! I’m Eunice Dulalia and I’m a freshman at University of Southern California studying Human Biology on a Pre-Med track with a minor in Health Care Studies. Over the years, I have developed a passion for changing lives through medicine and I hope to become a physician someday!
As a first-generation student, finally committing to a university felt surreal! Other than the quality education, I chose USC because I truly felt like I shared the ‘work hard, play hard’ type of mindset with their student body as well as the wide array of research that was offered to undergraduate students (plus there’s a Cupcake ATM by the bookstore hehe). Empowering first-generation students has been at the forefront of my advocacy and I plan to continue this through my organization @wearethefirst_ and by being part of the USC Questbridge @usc.questbridge chapter as a QB Scholar. So far, I have met amazing people despite being online through my classes, @usctroyphi, and the first-generation community at USC. I am very excited to start my journey as a Trojan and call USC my home for the next four years. Fight on!” –@eunicedulalia
