I Found My Niche at the University of Georgia
Student Name: Olivia
School: University of Georgia
Major: Biological Sciences
My name is Olivia and I’m a freshman at the University of Georgia. I am currently majoring in Biological Sciences with a minor in Health Policy and Management.
I chose UGA because I was looking for a healthy balance between academic rigor and fun times. At Georgia, I get challenged daily while still being able to relax and wind down with friends.
Professors are more than happy to help and assist students both in/out of school if needed as well! I can talk with them at almost any time.
The opportunities available at UGA are numerous. There are always seminars and Zoom sessions that are targeted for each type of student here. We are a very inclusive school!
Currently, I am on the First Year Executive Board for our Caribbean Association, CaribSA (@ugacaribsa). It is an amazing student association that connects people from all ethnic backgrounds.
Many student organizations on campus connect our student body. We can have a social campus while remaining socially distanced.
Not to mention, we have an awesome football team. I love it here!
It’s been an amazing experience so far and I can’t wait to finish my journey. I encourage you all to consider the University of Georgia 🙂 Go Dawgs!”—@oliviabryanaa

I chose to attend Youngstown State University due to its size and location. Campus is pretty much all together so you’re not walking over 10 minutes to class (at most.) Downtown is also a five-minute walk from campus and there’s tons of stuff to do just a short drive away!
