I Found My Niche at the University of Delaware
Student Name: Alvin Eburuoh
School: University of Delaware
“Five years ago, I had to make the hardest decision of my life – choosing which college to attend.
In my list of college acceptances, the University of Delaware (UD) was at the bottom of my list simply because I had not thought much of the school and had acceptances from schools that were considered more ‘prestigious.’
I ended up deciding on UD because it was by far the cheapest school that I was accepted to, considering financial aid.
I honestly believe that this school was the perfect fit for me.
With all the opportunities available to learn, insightful classes, and amazing people that I met, I feel as if I catapulted myself development-wise far beyond where I imagined being 5 years ago. At UD, I was introduced to @studentfiorg , which is a fintech company that helps students navigate through their college journey, where I am now the Chief Product Officer.
This opportunity to help other students and grow entrepreneurially would not have come about if I did not: 1. Attend UD, 2. Learn to be curious through my classes 3. Meet people that have a growth positive mindset.
If I were to go back in time and have a chance to redo my college decision, I would choose UD again in a heartbeat!”—@alvin.eb @udelaware
