I Found My Niche at the University of Chicago
Student Name: Kyle
School: University of Chicago
“What’s up, beautiful people! My name is Kyle and I am a freshman at the University of Chicago. I knew that when I finished my term of active duty service that I wanted to pursue higher education, but I never thought I could reach this high. I made a promise to my mom that I’d go to a great college one day and she wouldn’t have to pay a dime, and I kept it. I’m so excited to embark on this new chapter of my life and dive into the rich curriculum UChicago will offer.
I’m majoring in Classics for the fall. I chose UChicago because as a kid I grew up watching the Indiana Jones Trilogy and always remembered Indiana teaching at the University of Chicago and studying under Professor Ravenwood in the first movie ‘Raider of The Lost Ark.’ Indiana was my role model and I always told myself that I’d study at Chicago just like him one day. Still can’t believe I fulfilled younger me’s dream.”—@itstotallykylle

Zoom hasn’t provided me the glimpse into life as a Bluejay that I wanted, but Hopkins feels like a dream already. Baltimore is full of charm, and the people—students, professors, and all—are unbelievably friendly and always willing to lend a hand.

The people here are amazing and the school is awesome. I’m so lucky that I get to cheer on the Tigers at every game and that I get to represent the school in some way.
I Found My Niche at Northwest Nazarene University
Sure enough, I found myself here my freshman year and it took all of one day to integrate myself into campus’ famous community. I say ‘famous’ because if you ask any student what their favorite part of NNU is, they’ll say our community! Fellowship comes naturally here, and I think we owe that to the Christian values our school was founded on.
