I Found My Niche at Stevenson University
Student Name: Ashliegh Genece
School: Stevenson University
Major: Fashion Merchandising
“Hi everyone! My name is Ashliegh Genece and I am from Hamden, Connecticut. I attend Stevenson University where I am a fashion merchandising major and marketing minor. I chose Stevenson because of how the school prioritizes creating an exceptional experience for all students, especially on an academic level. I aspire to utilize social media management and marketing strategy to maintain consumer demands in fashion. I have the utmost confidence that Stevenson has given me the tools I need to excel in the fashion industry.
One of the things I love most about Stevenson is how easy it is to become involved on campus. For the past two years, I have served as the Secretary of the Fashion Apparel and Design (FAD) Club. This club has allowed me to gain leadership skills as well as create bonds with other peers that have a passion for fashion. I recently accepted a position as the FAD Club Senate Representative for the Student Government Association. Lastly, I am also a cheerleader at Stevenson! With COVID-19 disrupting our season last year, it has been great to finally cheer on the football team with my teammates in person.
I advise everyone to find a college that challenges you to learn and grow as an individual! I definitely found that at Stevenson 🐎💚🖤.” – @ashlieghgenece
