I Found My Niche at Spelman College
Student Name: Alexandria Jolivet
School: Spelman College
Major: Political Science
Hi! I’m Alexandria Jolivet, a graduating senior political science major at Spelman College from Duluth, Georgia.
I’m President of two organizations on Spelman’s campus and Vice President of another. I love going to the #1 HBCU in the nation! Spelman is the loving and supportive atmosphere. Spelman prides itself on producing influential leaders and gives the necessary tools, such as career workshops and networking events, to assist its students.
My favorite thing about Spelman College is the sisterhood. My Spelman sisters inspire me daily to be a better student and woman. The bad I would say is just feeling like you’re just enough surrounded by all these smart beautiful black women and sometimes imposter syndrome comes in but you just have to realize you’re there and you are more than enough and you earned your spot amongst the best for a reason.
