I Found My Niche at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
Student Name: Emmy
School: Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Daytona Beach
Major: Homeland Security
Hi there!!! My name is Emmy and I’m a freshman at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach studying Homeland Security with a minor in Cyber Security engineering. Riddle is a great place to form tight knit friend groups and get involved with a Greek community that is really close with one another. There’s many things to do and get involved with on campus, and the beach is less than 5 miles away! Our school also offers discounts on select theme parks throughout the state of Florida.
Riddle is an amazing choice if you are in pursuit of aviation, aerospace, and government type majors and careers.
Be smart when choosing a roommate, and try your best to get to know them thoroughly first if you meet them online before traveling to campus. My roommates my freshman year were really bad because I didn’t do this.
Despite 80% of the schools population being male, the majority of girls stick together and joining a sorority is a perfect option for finding more girlfriends. I am proudly a Tri Sigma and I have plenty of girlfriends now that I have joined. If it wasn’t for the Greek community at Riddle, I probably wouldn’t still be attending this university.
Overall, Riddle is a great place to me and I’m proud to be an Eagle and call it my home.
Go Eagles!! 🦅
