I Found My Niche at Clark Atlanta University
Student Name: Alexis
School: Clark Atlanta University
“Hello everyone! My name is Alexis, and I am currently a sophomore at thee illustrious Clark Atlanta University. I am a part of Clark Atlanta University’s Soul Experience (C.A.U.S.E), Project Y.E.S. Inc., Elevate, and the Women of Essence book club. I am majoring in history with the hopes of furthering my education to one day become a history professor myself!
Clark Atlanta is a part of the Atlanta University Center Consortium (AUCC), which is the oldest and largest association of HBCUs. Its history is rich, and the alumni are extremely inspiring, to say the least. CAU’s motto is ‘I’ll Find a Way or Make One,’ and attending CAU really gives you the spirit to do just that. You are smack dab in the middle of the ‘Land of Opportunity.’
My favorite part about Clark Atlanta is the sense of belonging that I’ve gotten while I’ve been here. In college, you go through such extreme hardships, whether it’s dealing with school, work, or just life in general, but I’ve never experienced a day in which I thought ‘this school isn’t for me.’ I’ve learned so much here, met so many amazing friends, and I’ve loved every moment of it.
Go Panthers! 🐾❤️” – @lexx.xcc
