I Found My Niche at Bard College
Student Name: Amadou
School: Bard College
Major: Architecture
Hello, My name is Amadou, I am a Junior at Bard College majoring in Architecture. On campus I am involved with Office of Equity and Inclusion as a peer mentor, a member of the Bard Ultimate frisbee team and the club president for the Muslim Students Organization on campus. Bard College being a liberal arts school allows students across the nation to come together in a collaborative environment and create the world that we live in today. With beautiful scenery of the catskill mountains, Bard is one of those colleges that wows you every season.
However, it lacks the diversity among the student body and faculty. Despite the lack of diversity, there’s a close knit community of different affinity groups on campus that creates a sense of family. A home away from home.
