I Found My Niche at Augustana University
Student Name: Rachel Copper
School: Augustana University
Major: Communications-Business, Media Studies
“🦋 Hey!! I’m Rachel Copper and it’s my third year at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD, but I’m graduating a year early so it’s my SENIOR year.🦋
I’m double majoring in Communications-Business & Media Studies & I hope to go into news broadcasting.🗣
I love Augie because I can be super involved on campus!! I’m on the boards of: @augustanaprssa, @augieubg, @augievikingdays & I was a “Viking Guide” where I had the opportunity to lead a group of freshmen all of “Welcome Week” (go FlappyBird).❤️🔥
During the school year, I’m on a team that leads the @augieadmission social media pages & I’m also a Communications Assistant for Admissions. Additionally, I completed a marketing internship at @spinmarkket this summer!! 🌿
I’m originally from Iowa & I found it beneficial to move away from home to start fresh & build new relationships in college. Fun fact: I met my current boyfriend on my first day of college. 🥰
Augustana is a tight-knit community where you’ll always see someone you know while walking to class. It is a place where there is always a friendly face to help you through the trials of college life, which is what everyone needs sometimes.🌻 Feel free to follow me & learn more about my journey.” – @rachel.copper
