Greeting, My name is Jermerious Lofton, a current freshman and a Secondary Mathematics Education major hailing from Pascagoula, Ms. As an incoming freshman I have been an active individual in academics and campus involvement. I am an active member of ASU Chapter of Mississippi Professional Educators (MPE), ASU Cheer, and ASU Freshmen Class President 2022.
I possesses an exceptional blend of intellectual skills and social grace, and I believe this will contribute immensely to the university’s academics and community. Alcorn State University helped me develop my roadmap to success during my academic years here. In addition, the knowledge gained can also be used to prepare me for my career. The knowledge I learned about the university’s history has added skills that will help me to compete globally. The university gives tremendous opportunities for students to connect with their instructors virtually and in person to establish a nurturing, challenging, and everlasting academic relationship. This relationship can help students gain essential skills through professional development, rigorous training, and internships.
Alcorn State University has an educational environment of high standards and professionalism that will give me the preparation for my successful future. While enrolled in this class, I understood the significance of the university’s mission statement and vision.
