Updating Competitors for Monthly Reports

We recently launched an update to allow Niche admins to update the list of competitors that are seen on Monthly Insight Reports. Follow the instructions below to update your competitors.
NOTE: The solution described below will only work if you have access to manage exactly one school or college on Niche. If you manage a network of schools, please reach out to your Niche representative to update your list of competitors.

Step 1
Claim Your School on Niche. Be sure to claim using your work email so our Customer Success team can verify your identity and authenticate you.
Step 2
Our Customer Success team will verify your affiliation with your school and then reach out with log-in credentials that will allow you to manage your profile in your Niche Partner Account and update your competitors on

Once you receive your log-in credentials from our Customer Success team or your Niche representative, log-in to
NOTE: To manage the content on your public-facing Niche profile, you must separately log in to your Niche Partner Account at

Step 4
In the top right corner, click on your username and then select Your Competitors
Step 5
From this page you can add up to 10 competitors for your Monthly Insight Report. Use the auto-complete to find your competitors.
NOTE: If your school has multiple Niche admins, we will use the ten most recently added competitors for your Monthly Insight Report. Coordinate with other admins at your institution to ensure your competitor list is accurate.

Step 6
Add up to 10 competitors. The changes will be reflected in the Competitors section of your Monthly Insight Report for next month’s report. Changes must be made by the end of the month in order to be reflected on next month’s report.
