New survey: Class of 2022 Fall Senior Survey

October 25, 2021 — PITTSBURGH Niche, the leading platform connecting students and families with colleges and schools, today released a new survey of 12,000 students from the high school class of 2022. This survey was designed and the insights and recommendations were put together as a joint project between Niche and Tudor Collegiate Strategies (TCS).

Intended to help admissions offices better understand students’ college search process and how they want to be recruited, the Class of 2022 Fall Senior Survey focuses on three categories: Students’ College Search in 2021, Advice for Communicating with Students, and Students’ Experience with Virtual Events. In addition to the results, Jeremy Tiers of TCS offers a variety of tips and recommendations for enrollment marketers and admissions offices.

“This year’s seniors, the high school class of 2022, have had to endure over a year and a half of disruption to their education and college search,” said Will Patch, Senior Enrollment Insights Leader. “It’s important for enrollment offices to adapt to meet them where they are still. In spite of slowly returning to a sense of normality, students are still saying they’re not as interested in the traditional college search staples of college fairs and in-person visits yet.”
