Carlos Cano

In this episode you will hear from Carlos Cano, Director of Admission Communications & Marketing at Georgian Court University. We cover the move over spring yield events to a virtual format, and with Carlos’ recent move to Georgian Court we talk about engaging with staff and building buy-in as a new leader virtually.

Carlos has served on the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling (NJACAC) since 2012, co-chairing the committees for regional college fairs, the college fair registry, was a co-director of the association’s Camp College program helping to serve first-generation college-bound students, began the association’s social media committee and was elected to serve a term as Treasurer of the association and subsequently elected to be a delegate to the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC)
Assembly. In 2017, Carlos was elected to a 3-year President’s cycle for NJACAC, which concluded in May of 2020. Carlos will now return to his roots and chair the Regional College Fairs for NJACAC entering the post-pandemic era of college admissions.
