In this episode, you will hear from Mateo Remsburg, Director of Recruitment at the University of Utah. Mateo has been working in high education for the past 25 years in admissions, recruitment, and enrollment management. He has worked at small private institutions and at large public institutions. We discuss virtual events, what he’s learned from their successful events, and some of the different voices and formats they’re using.
Mateo’s experience includes strategic planning, recruitment and yield activities, marketing & communication, outreach to specific student populations, campus visit experience, technology utilization, and application review. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his partner and two boys, fly fishing, and cooking on his smoker and grill. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Utah, an M.S. in College Student Personnel and Counseling Services from Kansas State University, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Utah.
