2017 Rankings Highlight Best Places to Live in America
April 17, 2017 —PITTSBURGH — Niche (https://niche.com), a website that helps people discover the neighborhoods and schools that are right for them, released its 2017 Best Places to Live rankings suite this morning.
These new rankings explore more than 228 cities and 15,000 towns and neighborhoods to find the best places to live in the U.S. based on a variety of factors, including cost of living, public schools, crime, job opportunities, and local amenities. Niche analyzed data from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC, and other sources, as well as reviews from residents, to calculate the rankings.
Carmel, IN rose 12 spots from last year’s ranking to earn the #1 Best Place to Live in America. Climbing from its #4 spot last year, Ann Arbor, MI is the #1 Best City to Live in America out of 228 cities.
